Eritisco Pilenejo (1737-1814). This was the pseudonym of Luca Antonio Pagnini (also known as Giuseppe Maria Pagnini). He was born in Pisa. Italian translator, Carmelite monk, and scholar of Greek literature.

There are 56 odes of Anacreon, a few published in imitation of him and seven epigrams. The Sappho poems includes Hymn to Venus and Ode to a Loved One as well as six fragments and two epigrams.
