Visual Arts and Poetry Symposium featuring spoken words and art by local authors and artists
Join local historian Anna Bergman discussing her journey through the Library of Congress in search of the history of celebrated civil rights activist Bayard Rustin.
Featuring two performances of Shakespeare’s HENRY VI on August 16 and 17 in the courtyard area of the library, with a special lecture on the writing and history of the play by Contra Costa College drama professor and director/producer of Roving Shakespeare Angelina Labarre, at 6:30 pm on Saturday, August 17.
