Author and Commentators
Noah Webster (1758-1843). American lexicographer. He published his first dictionary in 1806.
Chauncey A. Goodrich (1790-1860). American clergyman and lexicographer. He was the son-in-law of Noah Webster.
Noah Porter (1811-1892). American lexicographer, professor of philosophy and President of Yale College (1871-1886).
The Book
