Valenti Angelo (1897-1982). Born in Italy, he immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1905. Angelo is best know for his numerous book illustrations.

Aesop’s fables translated out of French by William Caxton. Approximately 168 pages. Initials and decorations by Valenti Angelo. There was a decorated initial for each tale. #64 of 200. Signed by Edwin Grabhorn.
