Author and Commentators

Henry Davenport Northrop, D.D. (1836-1909). Author and editor. He was an American, graduated from Amherst College in 1857, and studied at Union Theological Seminary 1858-1859; became a Presbyterian minister, in October 1860. He obtained positions in London, England 1863-67; New York - Brooklyn 1860-62 and NYC 1868-74; Hartford, CT 1874-79; Philadelphia, PA 1881. He died in his home in Yonkers, NY. in 1909.
